When you are starting out as a fisherman in the UK, it is best to start with the most simplistic form of fishing equipment. It really doesn’t require a lot of fishing gear to go fishing. However, a rod or pole is indeed a necessary piece of equipment. The fishing pole is used to suspend the line from which hangs the bait for the fish.
